The Mother Pack

A Group Coaching Program for Moms, Led by a Ph.D. in Philosophy

Motherhood is so often lonely, isolating, and alienating.

So many of us feel confused, overwhelmed, and like we don’t know who we are anymore.

“Mommy blogs” aren’t cutting it. We want to talk about the real stuff: patriarchy, identity, meaning. We need to find our people.

They’re gathering in The Mother Pack.

This experience will connect you to the group of mothers you never knew you were missing.
— Liz Robbins, Mother of kids ages 8, 10, and 12

We are your Pack. We got your Back.

Mother elephants will get into a big circle to protect the babies in the middle. A war veteran I knew once saw this happen when he was young and scared in the jungles of Vietnam. As he told me about it, his eyes reddened and he said,

"The thing I wanted more than anything in the world was to be in the center of that circle."

I knew exactly what he meant.

I'd been a mother for less than a year, and I felt utterly alone. I didn't feel like a mother. I felt like a small, scared, lost baby elephant that wanted to be surrounded and held—but I didn't have a pack.

I got through it the hard way, (like, the really hard way), but you don’t have to.

A group of mothers is a really powerful thing, and I feel a connection and access to our group in a way that really strengthens me.
— Ariel Grubb, Mother of kids ages 2 and 4

This Group Coaching Program is for YOU if…

  • You can’t seem to find mothers who want to talk the big ideas of motherhood: death, meaning, patriarchy, etc.

  • You feel lost, lonely, and overwhelmed as a mom—like there’s no safe place where you belong.

  • You don’t feel confident as a mother. Maybe you don’t even really feel like a mother at all.

  • You don’t feel like you can be really honest about motherhood and all the complex feelings you’re having.

  • Your kids are any age, or maybe not even here yet.

This group will…

  • Meet remotely for 6 months, so you can build a lasting, close community from anywhere.

  • Attract moms who are self-reflective, thoughtful, and who think critically about motherhood and the world.

  • See and celebrate you as the full, complex, colorful human being that you are in all your diversity.

  • Give you both group and one-on-one support in your motherhood journey.

  • Help you realize that you’re not alone and you’re doing a good job.

I joined this group looking to make an investment in myself, to spend some time thinking about myself and myself as a mother. And I absolutely found that in this group. By devoting time to myself I gained an understanding and confidence in myself that I didn’t know I could have. I feel this confidence now in my mothering as well as other aspects of my life.
— Emily P., Mother of a kid age 5
