Seeking a Highly Organized Administrative Assistant

Danielle LaSusa Ph.D. is looking for a highly organized administrative assistant to begin as soon as possible. This contract position is part-time, 5-15 hours per month, with flexible hours. Danielle is based in Portland, OR, but remote work is welcome. Wage is $25-$30/hour, depending on experience. Applications are being accepted and reviewed immediately, as of January 8, 2025.

About Danielle:

Danielle  LaSusa Ph.D. is a Philosophical Coach, helping moms to grapple with the meaning, mortality, and existential crisis of motherhood, so that they can recognize their wisdom, step into their messy, beautiful new selves, and rewrite the rules of motherhood together. Danielle works with clients one-on-one, in groups, and teaches online courses. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Motherly, and on the TEDx stage.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Highly organized and able to complete projects on schedule.

  • A clear and responsive communicator.

  • Excellent at copywriting.

  • An innovative problem-solver and able to make useful suggestions for improvement of systems.

  • Passionate about issues in motherhood, philosophy, and/or the intersection of the two.

Responsibilities include:

  • Onboard, schedule, and organize client information

  • Proofread, manage, and schedule newsletters through Substack

  • Make changes and updates to website on Squarespace

  • Create back-end operations workflow through Zapier and other apps

  • Manage administrative tasks for courses and groups in Mighty Networks

  • Create visual fliers and images to share on social media and by newsletter

  • Address client issues related to admin work as needed

Familiarity with the following platforms preferred, but willing to train the right person:
